origin of bacon
It all began with a typical afternoon 🕐 in sixth grade 🎒📘, filled with the sound 👂🏻 of evil teachers 🦹♀️👩🏼🏫 screeching noisily 🗯📢 at innocent students 😇 and the stench 👃🏻 of spoiled pizza 🤮🍕 mixed with sweaty students 😓. As I entered my Spanish class 💃🏼 , I suddenly 🤭😨 remembered 😲😟 that I had homework 📚 due that day: a written assignment 📝 that must use both English 🇺🇸 and Spanish 🇲🇽 to create a “Spanglish” story 📖. Scrambling 😩 into my seat 💺, I pulled out a pencil ✏️ and a piece of paper 🗒 and hastily 😖 scribbled ✍🏿 whatever thoughts 💭 first popped in my mind 🤯. I don’t know where, exactly, I got the idea💡, but I miraculously imagined 🤔 a young boy 👦🏻 who consumed 🤤 a strange-tasting 🤢 piece of beef 🥩, which caused him to gain powerful 🏋️🏻♂️ meat-based 🐮🐔🐷 abilities 💥. I named the character Beef Boy 🥩👦🏻, and with that, a hero 🦸🏻♂️ was born.
This creation of mine followed 🏃🏾♂️🏃🏾♂️ me throughout my adolescent years. Inspired 😲 by Dav Pilkey’s Captain Underpants series 📘📙📗, I designed 👨🏼🎨 comics 💬 of my own, with Beef Boy 🥩👦🏻 starring 💫 in each 👈🏿 and every 👉🏿 one ☝🏿 of them. Soon enough, however, he desired 🙏🏿 a new image, no longer wanting 🙅🏿♀️ to remain as the static character 🥺 that entered my life years before, as if he knew that my changing self 👦🏻 also wished 🧞♂️ for more freedom 🗽 as a young adult 🧔🏻. I thus upgraded ⬆️ Beef Boy 🥩👦🏻 into an individual capable of frying 🍳adversaries like bacon 🥓. Appropriately, I named this mightier 💪🏼 form Super Bacon 🦸🏻♂️🥓, which immediately stuck 👌🏿. Beef Boy 🥩👦🏻 no longer existed; a new person had taken his place.
Similarities 👥 emerged between this new character and me, since I implemented my personal 😉 experiences into his stories 📖. As I matured 🧔🏻, Super Bacon 🦸🏻♂️🥓 also underwent growth 🌱. As I became a responsible young adult 👨🏻, Super Bacon 🦸🏻♂️🥓 also developed into a stronger 💪🏾being with more advanced 🛰 weapons 🏹🗝 and skills🔥⚡️. As I obtained life-long friends 👬👫, Super Bacon 🦸🏻♂️🥓 also gained allies 🐷🦊🤖🐉 to accompany him in his journeys 🥾 and aid him in the troubles 😈👻👽 ahead. As I faced heavier 🏋️🏿♂️ decisions regarding my future 🔮 adult life 👨🏻, Super Bacon 🦸🏻♂️🥓 also met with increasingly 📈 extreme 🧗🏻♂️ situations that would determine the fate 🙌🏿 of the world 🌎 and all of humanity 👨👩👧👧👨👩👧👧. Super Bacon 🦸🏻♂️🥓 and I came to share similar level-headed 🧠 personalities and identical logical 😌 thoughts, as if we had become the same person 👥.
My recent experiences have proven this true ✅. I cannot 😞😔 create as many comics 💬 as I did before, due to my busy 🐝 schedule 🗓 that includes loads 🚚 of homework 📚 and excessive time ⏳ set aside to master 🧘🏽♂️ the Rubik’s cube 🔲, but Super Bacon 🦸🏻♂️🥓 still exists nonetheless. In addition to his presence in my e-mail address 📧 and usernames 👤, he finds 🕵️🏾♂️ his way into my writing 📝, particularly during the eleventh grade, during my weekly AP English Language 🔤 discussion 🗣 forums 👥👥. The participants embarked on the grueling 😫 task of analyzing 🔍 the arguments of recent 🗓 controversies 📺 or debating timely 🕟 issues 📰 with fellow classmates 👩🏻💻👨🏻💻. Occasionally, though, we students 🎒 took a break from these demanding 🥵 activities and, instead, discussed 🗣 other aspects of English 🔤 argument, such as enthymemes 🤔 , syllogisms 🧐, or grammar strategies 🤨. This gave me the perfect 💯 chance to poke 👈🏿 fun 😛 by addressing bacon 🥓 as a “God-given gift 🎁 from the heavens 👼🏻” or an “ultimate cure 💊💉 to death ☠️ and all evil 🦹🏿♂️.” As a result of my antics 🤪, my teachers 👩🏻🏫👨🏼🏫 and classmates 👦🏼🧒🏽 have begun to recognize me, not only as that quiet 🤫 “smart boy” 🤓 who seems to shine 🌟✨ in every subject, such as in Calculus ➕➖✖️➗, but also as that “weird kid” 🙃 who must have some bizarre 😳obsession 🤪 with bacon 🥓. Even my close friends refer to me as simply “Bacon” 🥓 from time to time. Clearly, Super Bacon 🦸🏻♂️🥓, to this day, still lives on through me, despite having seemingly vanished 💨 from the comics 💬 of my childhood 👦🏻.
In reality, however, Super Bacon 🦸🏻♂️🥓 will never disappear. He represents me, or rather, I represent him. He plays a major role in my life, and together 🤝 we will progress 📈 through my remaining year of high school 🎓, throughout the exciting 🎢, but intimidating 😰 years of college 👨🏻🎓, and beyond 🚀. He has inspired 😲 me to pursue a career in animation ✍🏼👨🏻💻🖥, in order to fully carry out a moving ⏩ visual 👀 representation 🎥 of the hero 🦸🏻♂️, which he has not yet experienced, but greatly deserves. Whenever I ponder 🤔 over our future 🔮, I reminisce 💭 about the past, about that important day 📅 that started it all, about that moment ⏳ in my life in which Beef Boy 🥩👦🏻 came to be.
